Kartech Solutions Inc. has 3 openings. (1) Mechanical Engineer, (1) Project Manager, (1) Technical Sales Manager.

1. Mechanical Engineer
Responsibilities:
  • Engage in design/build requirements and orchestrate the resources to bring projects to completion
  • Engage in hands-on product or fixture development to meet customer or subcontractor‘s requirement
  • Provide technical support to internal customer departments in China (design and manufacturing department, sales, purchasing, project management, etc.)
  • Support product research and development, translate verbal and written design requests into innovative design solutions

  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
  • Demonstrated success and experience of complete custom machine builds preferably for material handling applications along with project management
  • 3+year’s prior experience designing custom machines or automotive tooling and fixtures, experience in Body-in-White fixture and process are highly desired
  • High level proficiency in CAD system, Catia, Solidworks, or other design programs
  • Experience with controls programming and familiarity across multiple products and applications
  • Experience in equipment installation and interfacing with customers are highly desired, able to work at project site on east coast
  • A team player who can work independently and self-motivated, organized
  • Able to participate in technical training in China for up to 2-3 months



  • 2. Project Manager
    We are looking for an experienced Project Manager who will take on the management of key client projects with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget and within scope.
    Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate internal resources (from parent company in China) and third parties/subcontractors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Work with project team from China and customers in US, assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/subcontractors
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

  • Requirements:
  • Must have bachelor ‘s degree in engineering or management or business
  • Proven 5+ years of working experience in multi-million dollar project management such as turnkey equipment integration or automation assembly line implementation
  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in machinery design and manufacturing or automation, experience in automotive Body-in-White is highly preferred
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Chinese language a plus
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Able to travel and work at project site in east coast, working with customers, management, and engineers/technicians, ability in problem solving, and risk management
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office



  • 3. Technical Sales Manager
    Would be responsible for providing the internal and external technical sales expertise and counsel relating to company Body in White (BiW) products, robotics, and their sales potential. The Technical Sales Manager will also facilitate a marketing program to market company BiW products and services and provides customers with engineering expertise relative to specific BiW and robotics product lines.
    Typical duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Coordinate and make presentations to convince customers of the economic, technical, and operational benefits and features of BiW Products
  • Consult with customers regarding improved product offerings and evaluate existing limitations of customer's equipment
  • Analyze trends and the competition to understand current and emerging client needs, purchasing, and maintenance requirements
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with client representatives responsible for making purchasing decisions
  • Interface with Kartech Solutions' BiW Product Group team in China
  • Be the salesperson in the interfacing with the customer
  • Act as the salesperson in presenting the proposal and clarifying as required to secure the award
  • Support customer technical questions
  • Interface as the sales manager and supporting sales team to set upfront targets and strategies to support the overall sales volume
  • Act as a proposal manager to ensure communication of target strategies, progress, road blocks, schedules and supporting requirements

  • Requirements:
    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree and 5+ years of product specialist experience or equivalent
  • Knowledge of Body in White processes and related automation, or industrial machinery background or equivalent
  • Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
  • Sales experience of custom automation production lines
  • Strong technical background, both mechanical and controls
  • Basic understanding of robotics
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret and forecast changes in customers' buying patterns and product requirements
  • Broad knowledge of company products and ability to develop, under limited guidance, business plans and sales strategies, communicate required product changes to management, and negotiate with, and influence customers
  • Presentation and negotiating skills and strong ethical nature
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Project
  • Interpersonal / Behavioral Skills:
  • Communication with internal and external customers
  • Establish plans and manage execution per project timing
